Inland Premier IT Solutions
In 2017, Inland Premier sought to update its website to a new responsive design that complies with current industry standards and best practices. The client also wanted to take this opportunity to revise outdated informational pages and add new ones that would better showcase the company’s value propositions, the services offered and its credibility/expertise as a provider of managed IS/IT services.
We developed a full Targeted Communications Plan and a brand new responsive website on Blue Core CMS™ for Inland Premier.
Our first step was to develop a full Targeted Communications Plan for Inland Premier. We conducted a handful of interviews with our client in order to identi-fy the business model, value propositions, target market segments and communi-cations objectives. From this analysis process, we were able to develop recom-mendations for improvements to the website design and content in order to bet-ter accomplish the client’s communications objectives. After our planning process was complete, we proceeded to the design and development of the website.
Today, the new website design features aesthetics that are consistent with com-pany’s brand, including the logo, color scheme, messaging and other existing brand artifacts (such as a vehicle wrap).
We updated the informational pages so that the content is not only current but also consistent in messaging. The “Services” and “E-Waste Pick-Up” pages contain headings with content that expands and collapses on-click. This presentation facil-itates a more user-friendly experience for the reader because they are not overwhelmed with a large body of text as soon as they visit a page that contains a lot of information.
The “Partners & Certifications” page was introduced to help promote the credibil-ity and expertise of the Inland Premier and its technicians. The page informs the user at-a-glance what software and technologies the company is certified and/or partnered with to provide to its customers.
One of the most important design considerations was to make a phone number and a “Remote Support” button extremely prominent for Inland Premier’s clients because they are frequently instructed to go to the website in order to access a login page for remote support.
